The royal’s iconic embellished Atelier Versace gown went up for auction a few weeks ago and officially closed with a $200,000 final bid.

The princess’s icy blue figure-hugging design, featuring gold-tone stud embellishments, went up for bidding via Julien’s Auctions with an opening price of $30,000. Estimates put the final bid at about $80,000, so it was a major surprise when the winner took home the iconic design for well over twice that.
